ABOUT THE PRODUCT

FIREGEL heating paste is a viscous ethanol-based mixture. Unlike some other manufacturers, we do not use poisonous methanol during production, only high quality ethanol.  Thanks to this, FIREGEL heating paste is suitable for indoor use.

FIREGEL heating paste is popular especially due to its wide application in catering, but also for example on mountain treks and anywhere, where it is necessary to use an open flame / chaffing, fondue, wok, portable stoves, etc.

In catering, heating paste is used as a heating medium for heating foods and for maintaining a constant temperature of meals. It burns with a clean, clear blue flame without creating soot or odour. It is very important that when heating food, cookware is not soiled by the smoke and that there are no odours created.

Apart from the heating paste, we also produce a gel firelighter, which is an ideal helper when starting a fire in fireplaces, grills, outdoor fires, etc. Unlike with a liquid firelighter, the gel firelighter is applied underneath the material that is being lit. Thanks to its viscosity, it is possible to apply it locally to the required locations without it melting away from the fire starting location.

Due to the fact that heating pastes and gel firelighters are highly flammable ethanol-based products, it is necessary to adhere to the safety and user instructions provided on the respective product packaging and to also adhere to the general rules for handling an open flame!

• FIREGEL heating paste 130g

  

  FIREGEL 130ml (tube) is designed for camping, hiking and mountain climbing as a universal helper when starting a fire, for providing heat or cooking meals, and due to its high heating value it is also able to heat a certain space (a tent). The paste is made from high quality ethanol meaning that it burns with a clean, clear blue flame without creating soot or odour.
  It is intended for use in special burners. After filling up the burner to the max. recommended height, the paste in the burner is lit using a long match or gas stove lighter.
  The power of the flame is regulated using the handle on the burner. The extinguishing cap supplied with the burner is used to extinguish the flame.

  Firegel 3x80g is a heating medium designed for use in catering – fondue. The paste is filled into practical aluminium bowls that are inserted directly into special burners. The power of the flame is regulated by turning the handle on the burner. The flame is always extinguished before taking the burner out of the stand. Use the extinguishing cap included with the burner to extinguish the flame.
  The paste is made from very high quality ethanol in order to achieve the highest heat value possible. It burns with a clean, clear blue flame without creating soot or odour.

  Firegel 200g is intended for catering applications for heating meals and keeping them warm. This paste is made from very high quality ethanol in order to achieve the highest heat value possible. It burns with a clean, clear blue flame without creating soot or odour. The can is inserted into a special burner, but may also serve as a substitute for it.
  After opening the lid, the can is placed under the container that is to be heated and the paste is lit. To finish heating, extinguish it using the extinguishing cap (or alternatively by placing the can in the burner) or by returning the cap on to the can (in the case where the can also serves as a burner)

  This ethanol-based firelighter gel is used for easily lighting lump charcoal, briquettes, wood and other solid flammable materials without the need for paper. It does not create harmful combustion gases. Thank to its composition, the gel firelighter burns only on its surface, it does not seep into the fuel like liquid firelighters and so it is possible to apply it under the material that is being lit. Never add the gel firelighter into an already burning fire!
